Since SEED was established in 2005, we have helped both urban communities and rural communities in Zimbabwe to realise their own potential and to invest in their own futures.

Empowering the unemployed

Within those communities, we have worked alongside individuals to help them escape the poverty trap. For example, Douglas was struggling and in debt. SEED enabled him to study for O-levels at night school through short-term sponsorship. He then became head driver at the Australian embassy and is now able to pay for his children to study at a good school.

Read of other lives transformed through the work of SEED, such as Adam, Bassi, Constance and Granny Prisca, using the links in the menu to the left.
