SEED recently brought Greendale gardeners' soccer team together with neighbouring teams to enjoy a rare social occasion, some community spirit and a chance to forget their troubles for a day.

Despite having to pay police and government officials to attend and for the right to gather in numbers more than 5 the day was a great success.

After the match SEED was able to donate some much-needed maize from a UK donor to the gardeners, most of whom have earnings which will only buy a loaf of bread a MONTH. How they survive is a mystery.
